July 2006 UPDATE

After posting the pictures of dirt biking the other day I realized that I hadn't any new posts since we came back from holidays in April. So here is a quick update of what is going on and what is coming up this summer.

Just this past weekend we finished re-doing the upstairs spare room after 5 years we figured it was finally time to get rid of that space & planet wall paper that has been up since we moved in. Shaun did all the painting except I helped with the primer because as Shaun says he can fix my mess with the paint. He almost let me paint with actual color in the closet but then changed his mind and said no. Which was strange because that left me free to do all the crap jobs like clean paint brushes, wipe Shaun’s brow and get him a beer…………. and of course move the things he left in his own way after he tripped over them. He actually did a great job and our new Havana Cream room looks great, Havana Cream is the name of the paint we picked. I was going to post a picture but don’t take my word for it come see it.

Rachel arrives Saturday July 15, 2006 and is here until Tuesday August 15, 2006.

We are going to see Hilary Duff live in concert on Wednesday July 26, 2006, we have 5th row seats so we are all pretty excited about it. Shaun cried when he told Rachel we got the tickets because she was crying and then of course my eyes got teary too. It was pathetic! I am actually pretty excited about the concert - 5th row.

Shaun and I are going to see Larry the Cable Guy at Casino Rama with Paul and Tab on Wednesday July 19. Rachel will be hanging out with my mom; they are going to get the nails done and go out for dinner and I am sure Rachel has some further plans up her sleeve.

Rachel will be going to Camp from July 17 – 21 and July 24 – 28.

Kyle Family reunion in Vanastra or at the track is the weekend of August 5, 6 & 7; we are going to come home very tired.

This coming weekend (July 8th & 9th) we will be putting up the pool and re-staining the deck, which should be really fun.

Talk to you soon,
Jill
