Dale Earnhardt Incorporated - Mooresville, NC

DEI, what a garage! It was hard not to be impressed with this shop, even the bathroom was amazing. Lots of cars on display to look at and many pictures of Dale and Dale Jr and the other family members - definately a must see even if you are not a fan!
If you look in the first picture in the group, that is the front entrance of DEI, that is my mom, Rachel and Shaun walking towards the building, looking in the glass doors you can see the #3 car inside the front lobby. I guess that was what everyone was looking at when I fell after running to catch up with my family and a stranger had to ask if I was OK, yes before my mom, my husband and step daughter. Yup there I was laying on my back, bruised arm and butt with a stranger asking if I was OK, on the front door of DEI.....nice eh????? If only we had it on video!

Childress Vineyards - Lexington, NC

We also went to the Winery that Richard Childress started a few years ago. Here are some pictures of the beautiful grounds and vineyards. Oh and yes we did bring back some wine. We expected this place to be nice but it was BEAUTIFUL, it would be a perfect spot to get married....hint hint..Paul and Tab!!!! It was truly breath-taking.
