Myrtle Beach, SC

Here are some pictures of the Beach near our hotel. The water was still a little cool for swimming but of course Rachel went in, Shaun, mom and I just went up to our waist. The bottom picture is a Jellyfish on the beach.

This was our tower from the beach

Nascar Cafe & Speedpark in Myrtle Beach

Here are some pictures from the Nascar Cafe, a really cool place to eat and the Speedpark. You will notice there is somewhat of a Nascar theme to come.....

Pavilion & Go-Carting in Myrtle Beach

The Pavilion, an 11-acre playground by the sea, is one of Myrtle Beach' s best known attractions and this September it will be closing forever.

Alligator Adventure - North Myrtle Beach, SC

Take a walk on the wild side at Alligator Adventure, the Reptile Capital of the World that features more than 800 alligators! These mighty beasts include some adults that range in size up to 13 feet in length and up to 600 pounds! Visitors can also meet Wendy and Casper, two solid white albino alligators that are extremely rare.

Needless to say Shaun and Rachel went for the Alligator Adventure and mom and I went shopping.

Ripley's Aquarium - Myrtle Beach, SC

Here are more pictures from Ripley's Aquarium, I couldn't get them all to load into the same page. These pictures show the walkway through part of the aquarium that has water behind glass surrounding you on either side and above with beautiful coral, fish and sharks. It is almost freaky when you realize how close 8 foot sharks are to you.
